May is National Military Appreciation Month

May is National Military Appreciation Month and Wear The Message, Inc. is sponsoring "Raise Your Flag" on Friday May 9th. This event will take place on our Courthouse Steps in Troy, Ohio with speakers and guests including Ohio State Representative Diana Fessler, Mayor Michael Bemmish, Sgt. Douglas Bradley of the Ohio State Patrol, The Patriot Guard, the Sheriff's Office, Police & Fire Dept, City Schools, American Legion Post 43, VFW Post 5436, AmVets Post 88, along with active duty Soldiers. We are encouraging every household, business, organization, and government to "Raise A Flag" in their yard, on their car, or even on their lapel to let our troops know that we are behind them, value their dedication, and appreciate their sacrifice for our Freedom!

 Wear The Message is sending Christian T-shirts to our US Soldiers & we need your help!

Through your generous sponsorship, we will be able to bless our Soldiers by shipping boxes of Christian T-shirts to Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as to our other military bases. AmericaSupportsYou.mil is a nationwide program launched by the Department of Defense to recognize citizens' support of our military men and women and to communicate that support to members of our Armed Forces at home and abroad.  Secretary of Defense - Robert Gates - speaks at the ASY National Summit in Washington

Wear The Message attended the America Supports You National Summit at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. The summit honored programs like our "Sponsor-A-Shirt for a Soldier" program for "actively making the lives of our troops better".  After hearing from the Secretary of Defense we were also treated to a live singing of Brad Avery from the Christian Band "Third Day" singing his song I Want To Thank You   Please click here to hear all about the summit and to hear Brad Avery's song "Thank You"
